Ride To Hell: Old School Biker Game Revealed

Publisher Deep Silver today announced Ride to Hell, an open-world action title focusing on biker culture in the 60’s. The game will simultaneously hit PC and “next-gen consoles,” PS3 and Xbox 360 most likely, in Q2 2009.The studio commented:
“Ride to Hell is not for the faint-hearted, it’s aimed heavily at the player who wants to become fully involved in the original West Coast biker culture. With its hard drinking, bare-knuckle environment, this is as close to the action as you can get.”
Ride to Hell will mark the first North American release of an internal Deep Silver project.

WE DON’T RIDE TO INTIMIDATE, WE DON’T RIDE TO BE BAD,
WE DON’T RIDE TO BE DANGEROUS, DON’T RIDE TO BE GREAT,
WE DON’T RIDE TO MAKE A STATEMENT OR TO REBEL.
BUT THEN WHY DO WE RIDE?

WE RIDE:
CUZ’ WE CAN.

WE RIDE TO BE OURSELVES, WE RIDE TO BE FREE,
WE RIDE TO BE PROUD OF WHO WE ARE,
WE RIDE TO FEEL THE WIND IN OUR FACES,

Harley-Davidson has released another "Screw it; Let's ride" print ad imploring Americans not to buy Harleys for their fuel economy. Of course, the company has the distinct advantage of having a customer base who likely ranks fuel economy at the very bottom of their purchase motivators. But still, what advertising copywriter wouldn't like to propose "MPG describes riding like biology describes sex" and see it get through legal? This message works great for Harley as its sales are image- rather than product-led.
